I picked up a 5v USB wall adapter so that my Wii isn't running all the time.

One is that using anything but AA regular and rechargeable batteries voids the warranty on your Wiimote (but I have a recharger from Nyko that I plug in for my Wiimotes). Second is the usb charger. A month or two ago, several of my games would not work in my Wii. I thought I was going to have to send it in. Well, it turns out the Wii acts funky if you have something plugged into the usb port in the back. I had to unplug my usb charger for my WiiFit board and I was golden.

Bronze gemachthat Joined on 9/19/2008 Posts: 5		see? look at all the constructive comments, did i start something the other day by calling out the fp sp people? don't worry i won't let it go to my head. the constructive part of my comment is that the batteries this comes with have this grey grip on the back, and it is a bit difficult to jam the wii-mote into a guitar hero controller. other than that, they're great.

rprussell Joined on 8/4/2008 Posts: 15		I had a 2800 (wow) mAH NiMH Wii rechargeable in the past, and while it certainly did its job, I find my Wii drains them rather quickly. I got a Lithium Ion set from I-forget-where and the remotes rarely dip below "4 bars" in the battery power display. YMMV of course, and as the NiMH recharger died completely within about six months, it could very well be that the set was just a piece of crap to begin with. I have never had an issue keeping chargers plugged into the back of the Wii, though.
